April 11, 2010- Blog Assignment

Dr. Seuss
In Dr. Seuss, the Zax, it was about two stubborn individuals who do not want to change. As the world changes around them, they remain in their spots unmoved. Sometimes not changing is okay, other times you just have to roll with the punches. I don’t want to be a Zax, but sometimes it is okay. It just depends what you are being stubborn about. The link for the video is HERE.

PS 22
In the PS 22 video, I cried! Please go watch it HERE!!! It was so amazing to hear those kids sing. I even watched six of their other videos like “Run this Town”, “Don’t Stop Believing”, “Viva la Vida”, and “Halo”. They are so good. But here is my answer to the question of why it is good to post work online…it is good because for one it saves paper, and it is just so much easier. Rather than handing in a bunch of CDs or jump drive, we can just email or post to the blog. I have posted a Wordle to my blog, my Google Presentation, my Timeline, everything for this class! They all can be found on this very blog of mine.

  1. Hurrah! What do you think it is OK to be stubborn about? My answer: how to cook a Thanksgiving turkey! I cook the turkey the way my mother cooked it. My wife wants to experiment with other methods. She has even (on rare occasions) suggested substituting some other main course for the turkey! Can you imagine that? I would say that is OK at Christmas, but not at Thanksgiving. I am a Zax about Thanksgiving turkey! Of course, I do cook the turkey myself (and make the dressing - my mother's way - and make my mother's rolls). Even my wife agrees that my mother's rolls are delicious. And rather hard to make I would add). So Zax I am!
